Topciment microcement cleaning and maintenance

First remove dust and grit with a soft brush or suitable vacuum cleaner. For wet cleaning, use a compatible product at the specified dilution with a soft mop. Ecoclean Basic is intended for ordinary soiling on the relevant coatings; it is mildly alkaline, not pH-neutral.
The final varnish also matters because its protective surface is what you are cleaning. Do not increase concentration on the assumption that stronger always cleans better. Detergent residue can leave marks and alter how the floor feels.

Ecoclean Basic is intended for routine cleaning, while Ecoclean Pro is a more strongly alkaline cleaner for intensive removal of persistent soiling in suitable applications. Pro has low foaming and machine-cleaning uses. This does not make it the necessary choice for every home or every protective varnish.
Select concentration, contact time and method for the product, soil and surface. On an unidentified older coating, first test a small inconspicuous area. A cleaner does not repair worn or peeling varnish.

Ceraciment products maintain surfaces by forming a protective wax coating. Basic is aimed at domestic maintenance, while Pro is a professional polymer wax emulsion for the relevant traffic and application method. They are applied to a suitable, clean and prepared surface.
A maintenance wax layer does not replace the original protective varnish or repair cracking and debonding. Check compatibility with the existing varnish and the intended sheen before selection. Ceraciment is not a colourant and is not mixed into microcement.

Wet cleaning starts after the period specified for the final varnish and its curing conditions. Touch-dry does not mean ready for water, detergents or machine cleaning. Initially, protect the surface from grit, furniture movement and prolonged moisture.
Maintenance wax must not be applied prematurely over an uncured varnish either. Identify the installed system and the date of the last protective coat before scheduling the first cleaning. Do not apply one universal waiting period to all Topsealer products.

Do not treat them as universal solutions for microcement. Acids and highly aggressive cleaners can damage certain varnishes or alter the finish. Abrasive pads, stiff brushes and scrubbing with trapped grit can scratch the protective layer.
For bathroom limescale, first identify the varnish and a compatible removal method. Do not mix different cleaning products. For a persistent stain, identify its cause, age and the protective coating rather than arbitrarily increasing cleaner strength.

A key measure is preventing grit from remaining on the surface. Use a suitable entrance mat, soft furniture pads and wheels appropriate for the flooring. Lift furniture when moving it. Wear resistance does not mean the coating is scratch-proof.
Maintain the protective layer according to its condition and traffic. A wax product can support maintenance on a compatible surface, but does not compensate for an unsuitable varnish or deep mechanical damage. Assess local scratches before repair, since the repair may differ in sheen.

A maintenance wax layer may change light reflection and surface feel. For a matt finish, test the selected Ceraciment and confirm that it suits the intended result. Do not add coats merely according to a calendar if residues are already building up.
Frequency depends on traffic, cleaning and the condition of the maintenance layer. A domestic room and a commercial premises do not necessarily need the same schedule. Clean and prepare the floor according to the product instructions before renewal.

Soiling may be removable with compatible cleaning, whereas wear changes the integrity or properties of the protective layer. Peeling areas, deep scratches or a lasting change in absorption require assessment of the coating, not simply a stronger detergent.
Provide photographs of the dry surface and details of the varnish, coating age and maintenance history. Repairs start by identifying the cause and specifying compatible preparation and renewed protection. A cleaner or wax does not resolve moisture within the substrate.
