VIA.ZZO epoxy terrazzo for your interior
Tuya Milano, Italy · terrazzo flooring from the VIA.ZZO portfolio
Natural stone selected for your interior
Marble or granite, carefully chosen colours and a precisely polished surface. VIA.ZZO epoxy terrazzo combines natural stone with epoxy resin. After installation, the floor is ground and polished to reveal the colour and structure of the stone aggregate.
Choose a combination for your space: light marble in a subtle background, contrasting stone chips, or larger aggregate for a more pronounced effect. Glass and other selected materials offer further decorative possibilities. A physical sample establishes the final colour, size and distribution of the inclusions.
VIA.ZZO combines bespoke design, abrasion resistance and straightforward everyday maintenance. It suits private interiors as well as prestigious public spaces. Floors, stairs and countertops can use a coordinated colour blend selected alongside the other interior materials.
Stroitelna Himia offers VIA.ZZO in Bulgaria, with material selection and a supply and installation quotation for your project.

01 / TERRAZZO FLOORS
Elegant flooring for spacious interiors
Installed on site, terrazzo allows large surfaces to be created with a bespoke design. Light stone aggregate can produce a delicate, even texture, while larger, contrasting inclusions make the floor a distinctive feature.
Suitable settings include living spaces, kitchens, hotel lobbies, restaurants, boutiques, offices and galleries. Different colours, geometric shapes and decorative divider strips can be incorporated into the design.
Selection considers anticipated traffic, lighting and maintenance. Required structural and movement joints are retained as specified for the project.

02 / STAIRS AND SKIRTINGS
Terrazzo stairs with carefully finished details
Treads, risers and skirtings can use the same stone and colours as the flooring. Terrazzo allows both straight edges and curved floor-to-wall transitions.
A choice for feature staircases in hotels, restaurants, offices and private homes.
Step geometry, edge treatment and surface slip resistance are specified for the intended use.

03 / COUNTERTOPS AND RECEPTION DESKS
Bespoke terrazzo, from kitchen islands to reception desks
Terrazzo can be a focal point in the interior: a dark kitchen island with visible stone inclusions, a green-glass reception desk or a bar top with gently rounded contours. Colours and decorative inclusions are selected for the space.
Countertops, reception desks, tables, benches and cladding elements can be made to a project specification. They can match the floor or introduce a bolder colour and larger aggregate.
Dimensions, supports, cut-outs and final treatment are defined for the intended use. Kitchens and wet areas require consideration of exposure to water, heat and cleaning products.

COLOURS, STONE AND FINISH
Choose your stone, colour and finish
The stone. Marble and granite introduce natural colour variations. Aggregate size determines whether the surface appears fine and even or features prominent stone inclusions. Decorative glass offers additional colour effects.
The resin colour. A shade close to the stone creates a subtle blend; a contrasting background highlights individual inclusions.
The surface design. One consistent blend, geometric shapes or separate colour fields with divider strips: the choice responds to the architecture and furnishings.
The sample. The final combination is chosen using a physical sample. It conveys colour, aggregate size and degree of polish more accurately than an image on a screen.
How VIA.ZZO terrazzo flooring is installed
Finished terrazzo depends on carefully selected materials and a sequence of skilled operations. Each stage contributes to the appearance and durability of the floor.
01 / Substrate preparation
The substrate is checked for strength, moisture and flatness. Repairs, finished levels and joints are planned. This preparation establishes the conditions for correct installation of the complete system.
02 / Terrazzo installation
The prepared substrate receives a primer and reinforced elastic membrane, followed by a mixture of epoxy resin, mineral filler and the chosen decorative aggregate. Divider strips form the specified colour fields.
03 / Grinding and polishing
After the required curing, the floor is ground, pores are filled and the surface is polished. This exposes the stone inclusions and produces an even finish. The specified final protective treatment completes the process.
COMFORT AT HOME
VIA.ZZO terrazzo over underfloor heating
VIA.ZZO terrazzo can be installed over underfloor heating with a suitably designed floor construction, allowing the decorative finish and heating system to be specified together.
The screed, available height, joints and initial heating cycle are agreed before installation. The illustration shows the layer arrangement; the exact build-up is defined for the particular project.
Specified for the way you use the room
Kitchens and bathrooms
For kitchens and bathrooms, the design is coordinated with actual use. Wet areas require suitable falls, drainage, waterproofing and surface slip resistance. Terrazzo is the decorative finish; waterproofing is designed as part of the complete floor system.
Straightforward everyday care
Routine cleaning uses a suitable neutral detergent. Machine cleaning can be used for larger areas. The maintenance routine is agreed for the installation, with professional renewal of the final treatment where needed.
VIA.ZZO terrazzo pricing: materials and installation
