Topciment Evoluttion one-component microcement

Evoluttion is a cementitious microcement powder containing preformulated additives. It is mixed with an accurately measured amount of clean water. Unlike Sttandard and Unlimitted, it does not require Acricem as a separate mixing component. This simplifies material preparation but does not remove substrate or workmanship requirements.
“Single-component” does not mean ready-to-use paste or a complete system in one container. Priming, base and finish coats, colouring and protective varnish remain separate stages.

Evoluttion Microbase forms the base beneath the finish and comes in L, XL and XXL grades. Microdeck is used to finish interior floors and other suitable trafficked surfaces. Microfino is intended for walls, façades and non-trafficked surfaces where a fine decorative effect is required.
A standard floor build-up uses Microbase base coats and Microdeck finish coats, while a wall uses Microbase followed by an appropriate wall finish. Do not use Microfino on a floor solely because its texture is finer.

Evoluttion is supplied as a powder and prepared on site with water. Efectto Quartz is a paste that is homogenised before application and installed as its own system. Their binders, aggregate grades, consumption rates and protective-coating requirements differ.
Efectto Quartz is intended for interior walls and lightly trafficked floors. Mixing convenience alone should not determine the choice: assess traffic, moisture and whether the particular finishing grade is intended for walls or floors.

Yes, provided the existing covering is sound and stable and the system is correctly prepared. First assess hollow or loose tiles, contamination and moisture. Level the joints with a suitable material, then apply a bonding primer for non-absorbent substrates and the required base coats.
Reinforcement mesh and detailed preparation depend on the substrate. Movement joints must be retained. If tiles move or moisture is present underneath them, microcement will not resolve the cause; the defect must be addressed before applying the decorative finish.

Evoluttion Microdeck can serve as the finishing material in an appropriate bathroom system. A stable substrate, required waterproofing and correctly formed falls and drain junctions are essential. Microfino is a wall material and should not be selected for a bathroom floor.
Complete the protection with a compatible varnish suitable for wet areas. The finished surface’s water resistance depends on the whole system and its detailing. Evoluttion should not be equated with the dedicated Atlanttic swimming-pool system.

Measure water according to the technical mixing instructions for the exact product and aggregate grade. Microbase, Microdeck and Microfino do not share one universal ratio. Use clean containers and measuring equipment, keeping the dosage consistent across batches on the same decorative surface.
Adding extra water by eye changes consistency, colour and coat behaviour. Do not revive a mixture that has begun to set by arbitrary dilution. Prepare batches that match the working time and the team’s application rate.

Yes. After the base and finish coats, the system is completed with Presealer and a suitable Topsealer. The primer beneath the microcement and Presealer beneath the varnish have different functions and are not interchangeable. Choose the varnish for the application, traffic and moisture.
Distinguish drying between coats, readiness for sealing and development of service resistance. Timings depend on the exact materials, temperature and humidity. A touch-dry surface does not mean a shower or floor is ready for unrestricted use.

Calculate Microbase, the selected Microdeck or Microfino, colourant, primer, any required mesh and protective coatings separately. Use the specified coat count and consumption rate for each material. Microbase, Microdeck and Microfino have different pack sizes and should not be compared as equivalent buckets.
