Sikalastic®-200 W is a ready-to-use, 1-component elastic liquid waterproofing for indoor wet rooms. It forms a watertight, flexible membrane under rigid ceramic tile or stone coverings and is suitable for bathrooms, kitchens, shower rooms and other indoor areas exposed to moisture.
When to choose Sikalastic-200 W?
Choose Sikalastic®-200 W when you need a liquid waterproofing membrane under tiles for indoor use and want a ready-to-apply, solvent-free system. After drying, the membrane must be covered with rigid protection - ceramic tiles or natural stone.

Details with tapes and collars
For connection and expansion joints, wall-to-floor junctions, floor drains, pipes and corners, the TDS recommends using Sika® SealTape-S tapes, collars and prefabricated internal/external corners. The tapes are placed onto the first coat while the material is still tacky and are covered with the second coat after drying.
Important limitations
- Not suitable for waterproofing flat roofs.
- Not suitable for tanks, collection basins, fountains and other surfaces in continuous contact with water.
- The membrane must be covered with rigid protection made of ceramic or stone tiles.
- Before installing the final protection, temporary protection may be required to avoid damaging the membrane.
Before ordering
Send the area, substrate type, whether there is underfloor heating, the number of corners, floor drains and pipe penetrations. This allows the required quantity of Sikalastic®-200 W for the two coats to be calculated, together with the necessary SealTape tapes, collars and tile adhesive.
