Sikaflex® AT Connection is a universal 1-component elastic joint sealant for connection joints between porous and non-porous substrates. It is suitable for windows, doors and other building elements where elastic sealing with good adhesion and paintability is required.
When should Sikaflex AT Connection be selected?
Choose Sikaflex® AT Connection for connection joints around windows, doors and construction details where different substrates meet. It is a universal joint sealant for porous and non-porous materials, but it is not intended for swimming pools, permanent water contact or bituminous substrates.

Primer and backing profile
After substrate preparation, insert a backing rod such as Sika® Rundschnur PE to the required depth. For critical applications, the TDS specifies primer systems: Sika® Primer-3 N for concrete, aerated concrete, cement renders, screeds, bricks, natural stone and some metals after activation.
Important limitations
- Do not use on natural stone without a system check, although the TDS lists it in primer preparation for certain porous substrates.
- Do not use on glass, bituminous substrates, natural rubber, EPDM or materials that release oils, plasticizers or solvents.
- Do not use for seals in or around swimming pools.
- Do not use for joints under water pressure or in permanent contact with water.
- Paint must be tested for compatibility with the sealant.
Before ordering
Send photos, substrate types, joint width and depth, whether the joints are around windows/doors and whether the joint will be painted. This helps with selecting the colour, primer, backing profile and number of packs.
