SikaDecor®-803 Nature is a 2-component polymer-modified cementitious mortar for leveling and reprofiling before decorative microcement coatings. It is used as a preparatory layer in SikaDecor / Sika® EmotionFloor systems where the substrate has joints, uneven areas, holes, or requires a stable mineral layer before SikaDecor®-801 Nature.
When is SikaDecor 803 Nature used?
The product is the right choice when a substrate needs to be prepared before microcement: concrete, cement mortar, brick, old tiles on walls and floors, or other porous substrates. It can be used indoors and outdoors, but only on a sound, prepared substrate and as part of a complete system with primer, decorative layer, and sealer.

How does it fit into the SikaDecor system?
On non-porous substrates, including old tiles, the TDS recommends a bonding layer with SikaTop®-10. If the substrate is uneven, has holes, joints, or level differences, it is reprofiled with SikaDecor®-803 Nature. Then a minimum of two or three layers of SikaDecor®-801 Nature and a suitable transparent sealing layer are applied.
Preparation and limitations
- The substrate must be clean, sound, and free from dust, friable particles, oils, grease, and old weak coatings.
- Old ceramic coverings must be well bonded and degreased/sanded.
- Do not add extra water during smoothing, as this may cause discoloration and cracking.
- Freshly applied material must be protected from frost, wind, and direct sunlight.
Before ordering
Send the area, leveling thickness, photos of the substrate, and information on whether there are old tiles, joints, hollow areas, or moisture. This makes it possible to calculate the real consumption and select the correct primer and sealing system.
