SikaDecor®-801 Nature is a 2-component decorative microcement for seamless interior coatings on walls and floors. It is used as a visible finish coat in SikaDecor / Sika® EmotionFloor systems where a thin decorative surface with a modern mineral appearance is required.
When to choose SikaDecor 801 Nature?
Choose SikaDecor®-801 Nature when you need a microcement for interior walls and floors in homes, offices, lobbies, shops or public buildings. The product is suitable for cementitious and gypsum substrates, but it must be considered as part of a system: correct preparation, suitable primer, possible reprofiling with SikaDecor®-803 Nature and a sealing coat selected according to the expected load.

System and compatible products
On uneven walls or tile joints, the first coat is usually applied with SikaDecor®-803 Nature. For cementitious wall substrates, the system uses SikaTop®-10, while for gypsum and highly absorbent wall substrates it uses SikaTop®-50. The final protection is selected according to the load; the Sika® EmotionFloor TDS specifies sealing coats with Sikafloor®-304 W, while for higher floor loads a system solution with Sikafloor®-169 may be considered.
Important limitations
- SikaDecor®-801 Nature must not be in permanent contact with water.
- Freshly applied material must be protected from moisture, condensation, wind and rain for at least 24 hours.
- Cracks, construction joints and expansion joints must be treated correctly before application.
- The colour may change depending on the application conditions and the type of sealer, so for specific aesthetic requirements it is advisable to prepare a trial area.
Before ordering
For accurate consumption and the correct system, send the area, photos of the substrate, whether it will be applied on a wall or floor, whether there are tiles, joints, cracks or moisture, and what finish you are looking for. This allows the primer, preparation, number of coats and suitable sealer to be confirmed.
