Sika® Igolflex® F-05 is a non-woven polyester fabric for reinforcing Sika® Igolflex® and Sikalastic® bituminous waterproofing coatings. It is used to strengthen the coating over cracked concrete, cementitious substrates, edges, junctions, drains and corners.
When to choose Sika® Igolflex® F-05?
Choose Sika® Igolflex® F-05 when the waterproofing coating must be reinforced in critical areas: cracks, junctions, internal and external corners, drains and transitions. It is a system reinforcement embedded into a freshly applied coating, not a stand-alone waterproofing layer.

How it is embedded
Sika® Igolflex® F-05 is fully embedded into the first layer of Sika® Igolflex® or Sikalastic®. The sheets are overlapped by at least 100 mm, after which a second layer of the relevant coating is applied after the waiting time stated in the coating TDS.
Important limitations
- The fabric is not a stand-alone waterproofing layer.
- Always check the TDS of the specific Sika® Igolflex® or Sikalastic® coating into which it will be embedded.
- For temporary flowing water under low pressure, the entire system must be checked, not only the reinforcement.

Please specify which Sika® Igolflex® or Sikalastic® system you will use, the area, details and zones requiring reinforcement. This allows the required quantity of fabric and the overlaps to be calculated.

Most important: F-05 is not a stand-alone waterproofing layer. It is a reinforcing layer embedded into a freshly applied compatible coating to strengthen critical areas such as cracks, corners, edges, drains and transitions.
