Application and important conditions
Joint flanks must be sound, clean and dry. Install a suitable polyethylene backer rod to control depth and prevent three-sided adhesion.
Use Mycoflex 251 on porous absorbent substrates, especially where moisture exposure is expected. Allow more than 1 but less than 6 hours after priming; re-prime if this interval is exceeded.
Apply with a compatible gun without trapping air, then smooth the joint. Allow full curing before chemical or mechanical loading.

Frequently asked questions
Which gun is required?
Use a gun suitable for a 600 ml foil sausage. Check that the equipment accepts this packaging format.
How many metres does one pack cover?
A 10 × 10 mm cross-section uses a theoretical 100 ml/m, giving approximately 6 m per pack before losses. This is a volume calculation, not a joint-design recommendation.
Does it remain flexible after curing?
Yes. Allowable movement must be checked against the actual joint width and movement; the sealant does not replace an engineered joint design.
