Application
- Sika® ThermoCoat Acryl Primer is used as a primer before the application of acrylic façade renders and paints for thermal insulation systems. Sika® ThermoCoat Acryl Primer can be applied to a wide range of substrates such as: reinforced cementitious base coats on thermal insulation panels, lime-cement mortars, cement boards, concrete, plasterboard, etc.
- Concrete aged 28 days.
- Mortar aged 28 days.
- Plasterboard.
- Reinforced cementitious base coat on thermal insulation panels aged at least 7 days.
Technical Advantages
- Structures the substrate, providing better adhesion to façade renders.
- Evens out surface roughness.
