SikaSwell® P Type H is a hydrophilic swellable profile with a rubber EPDM core and an outer layer containing superabsorbent components. Upon contact with water, the profile swells and seals construction joints, pipe penetrations and openings in concrete structures.
When to choose SikaSwell P Type H?
Choose SikaSwell® P Type H when a mechanically resistant swellable profile is required for construction joints and penetrations in concrete, including cable ducts, precast elements and openings around pipes or metal profiles. The rubber core helps provide mechanical resistance, while the outer layer provides the swelling action.

Important limitations
Do not use SikaSwell® profiles for joints that are expected to accommodate movement. Swelling is not immediate and takes several hours. The profile must be installed on a dry or matt-damp substrate, without standing water, and must have sufficient concrete cover.
