SikaRapid®-1 is a liquid hardening accelerator for concrete and mortar, developed for faster early strength gain. It is suitable when high early strength is required within 6-24 hours, when faster formwork stripping is needed, or when the construction process must be accelerated without negatively affecting the final strength according to the TDS.
When to choose SikaRapid-1?
Choose SikaRapid®-1 when the schedule is critical and the concrete must be ready for the next operation sooner. It is the right choice for precast concrete elements, ready-mix concrete requiring fast formwork stripping, slipform concreting, and winter conditions where critical strength must be reached more quickly.

Method of addition
SikaRapid®-1 is added to the mixing water and enters the concrete plant mixer together with it. It can also be added to the truck mixer on site, in which case additional mixing is required for 1 minute per m³ or for a minimum of 5 minutes to achieve a homogeneous mix. Do not add the product to dry cement.
Before ordering
Send the mix design, cement quantity, required early strength, working temperature, and whether the product will be dosed at the batching plant or on site. This allows a reasonable dosage to be selected within the TDS range and avoids working by assumption.
