Описание

SikaMembran® Window Inside is a flexible vapor-control and waterproof membrane for interior sealing around windows, doors and panels. The membrane has a pressure-sensitive strip for fast installation to the frame and is bonded with SikaHyflex®-220 Window or Sikaflex® AT Connection.

When to Choose SikaMembran Window Inside?

Choose SikaMembran® Window Inside for the interior, warm side of the installation joint around window and door frames when water vapor transmission must be controlled and the risk of internal condensation reduced. It has an Sd value of ~30 m according to the TDS and must be correctly combined with an exterior membrane/seal so that the warm side is at least as vapor-tight as the cold side.

Installation

Select the width according to the installation detail. The self-adhesive strip is bonded to the prepared frame, after which the membrane is bonded to the substrate with SikaHyflex®-220 Window or Sikaflex® AT Connection. Longitudinal overlaps must be at least 10 cm and sealed with the same sealant. Provide sufficient insulation in the joint, such as Sika Boom®, mineral wool or similar, to avoid thermal bridging and internal condensation.

Before Ordering

Please specify whether the membrane is for the interior or exterior side, the width of the installation joint, the frame type and which sealant will be used. For window and door installation, the detail should almost always be considered as a system: Inside, Outside, insulation and the correct sealant.
