SikaCeram®-220 is a flexible, polymer-modified cementitious adhesive for floor and wall tiles, for indoor and outdoor use. Classification according to EN 12004 is C2TE - high adhesion, slip resistance and extended open time.
When to choose SikaCeram-220?
Choose SikaCeram®-220 when you need a flexible adhesive for porcelain tiles, ceramic tiles, clinker or moisture-insensitive natural stone, and want more working time during tile installation. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor horizontal and vertical surfaces, underfloor heating, indoor swimming pools, high-traffic floors and interior bonding over existing tiles.

Difference compared with SikaCeram-215 and 225
SikaCeram®-220 is a step above SikaCeram®-215 when extended open time and more comfortable tile installation are important. If the substrate is more deformable or subject to more significant temperature changes, SikaCeram®-225 C2TE S1 is the more suitable premium choice.
Preparation and limitations
The substrate must be sound, clean and free from loose particles, laitance, oils, grease and old coatings. SikaCeram®-220 must not be used on metal or wooden substrates, for layers over 10 mm, over existing ceramic tiles outdoors, or at temperatures below +5 °C and above +35 °C.
Before ordering
Send the tile size and type, the substrate, whether there is underfloor heating or existing tiles, and whether the project is indoors or outdoors. This allows confirmation of whether SikaCeram®-220 is the correct class or whether an S1 product is required.
