SikaCeram®-113 is a cementitious adhesive for ceramic floor and wall tiles, for interior and exterior use. Its class according to EN 12004 is C1TE, making it a suitable choice for standard absorbent ceramic tiles on stable substrates where no deformation is expected.
When should SikaCeram-113 be selected?
Choose SikaCeram®-113 when you need a tile adhesive for standard ceramic finishes on concrete, cementitious substrates, brick or plasterboard, where significant shrinkage, expansion or thermal deformation is not expected. It is the basic choice in the SikaCeram range for absorbent tiles and normal conditions.

When should a higher class be selected?
If you are bonding porcelain stoneware, non-absorbent ceramic tiles, tiles over existing tiles, underfloor heating, an indoor swimming pool or a more heavily loaded floor, SikaCeram®-215, SikaCeram®-220 or SikaCeram®-225 are more suitable. SikaCeram®-113 is the right choice for standard absorbent tiles and stable substrates.
Preparation and limitations
The substrate must be clean, level and free from weak, friable particles, cement laitance, oils, grease and old coatings. SikaCeram®-113 must not be applied on metal or wooden surfaces, in a layer above 10 mm, over old ceramic tiles outdoors, or at temperatures below +5 °C and above +35 °C.
Before ordering
Send the tile type, size, substrate, whether the application is interior or exterior, and whether there is waterproofing under the tiles. This allows confirmation of whether SikaCeram®-113 is sufficient or whether a higher class adhesive is required.
