Application and important conditions
Remove unsound material and contaminants. Prepare a rough, sound substrate and pre-wet to a matt-damp condition without standing water.
Mix a complete bag with the specified water for at least 3 minutes. Do not add other materials or mix partial packs.
Apply at least two coats. Ground moisture requires more than 2 mm total thickness; pressurised seepage requires more than 3 mm in at least three coats. Allow approximately 6–24 hours between coats.
Protect the fresh coating from rapid drying. Heavily water-saturated areas may require preliminary treatment with ombran IW.

Frequently asked questions
How much material is needed for 3 mm?
Approximately 4.8 kg/m² of dry powder, before allowing for surface texture, wastage and the required final thickness.
Is a separate bonding coat required?
No separate bonding coat is specified. Substrate roughness, soundness and pre-wetting are essential.
Can the full thickness be applied in one coat?
No. Each coat is limited to 1–2 mm and the waterproofing must be built up in successive coats.
